To capture views of the Atlantic Ocean to the east, distant bay views to the west, and maximize a southeastern view corridor and solar orientation, the house was elevated on pilings. An angular floor plan was conceived to maximize the southeastern orientation and create a unique home design, on an otherwise typical box shaped lot in Bethany Beach Delaware.
